What this is. A quadruple star system — two close binary pairs orbiting each other — was recently confirmed to show a rare "triple-dip" eclipse, one whole pair passing in front of the other. This is a first-person guess at standing on a planet in a system built like that: two suns close together in the sky (Aa + Ab), and a second, fainter pair (Ba + Bb) that drifts slowly against the first as the outer pair orbits, sometimes rising with them, sometimes on the opposite side of the sky, and — once in a long while — passing right behind them.
